Lutsk: The Longest Khachapuri

The longest khachapuri was cooked on the territory of the entertainment complex in Lutsk October 3. Its length - 9 m 72 cm. Until now no one has yet succeeded to produce khachapuri more than 8 meters long. Therefore, the record set in Lutsk, can be considered as the world one.

It took 6 kg of puff pastry, 5.5 kg of cheese and 20 eggs to cook the khachapuri. 2 kg of lettuce were used for the decoration. The record was set by the chief of VC "Garnizon" Vakhtang Tkabladze.

After fixing the record all those who were present had the opportunity to taste the delicious khachapuri, and after a few minutes not a single piece of it was left on the table.

Videos and photos from the event will be sent to the Kiev expert committee for confirmation and registration of the record.

Nota Bene: the longest khachapuri so far was considered to be the 8-meter Ajarian khachapuri, which was produced in 2011 in Batumi (Georgia). However, the record was not listed in the Guinness Book of Records because of non-compliance of measurements.
